ViscomSign Spain 2009 once again fulfils expectations

10/28/2009 | Reed Exhibitions Iberia

ViscomSign 2009Between 22 and 24 October, ViscomSign Spain 2009 welcomed 8,465 visits from professionals. Exhibitor companies have already reported their satisfaction with the excellent quality of the visitors who stopped at their stands to the Reed Exhibitions Iberia organising team. Specialists from the visual communication sector were in attendance, attracted by the wide range of products and services, as well as the extensive programme of associated activities, which included courses, seminars, workshops, conferences and exhibitions.

For three days, visual communication professionals filled the aisles of ViscomSign Spain, demonstrating once again that the show is an event which no specialist in the sector wants to miss. The 22nd edition of the trade fair received 8,465 visits to Ifema’s Pavilion 9 between 22 and 24 October. As in the past, Friday was the busiest day, followed in order of attendance by Thursday and Saturday. This annual event organised by Reed Exhibitions Iberia also enjoys the loyalty of a large number of exhibitor companies, who are committed to the sector’s leading trade show in Spain and Portugal. On this occasion, 138 firms from a dozen countries presented their products and services.

Following the event, the organisers were satisfied with both the figure of 8,465 professional visits and early feedback from exhibitors. A large number of the participating companies have already reported to the team headed by Sergio Paradís that this new edition of the event maintained the number and quality of the visitors who stopped at their stands. The organiser’s managing director, Francisco Carrió, highlighted that ‘as it has demonstrated over the course of its 22 editions, ViscomSign Spain offers the greatest level of interaction between buyers and sellers found in a market, irrespective of any given economic situation.’

Great interest from professionals

As at previous editions, the make-up of ViscomSign Spain 2009 attendees featured a similar heterogeneous profile, with professionals specialising in both the technical/industrial and creative/artistic areas. Bringing together specialists from such varied fields in a single space is the characteristic, one-of-a-kind model for this show. Thanks to the various synergies established between the four exhibition areas – Viscom, Design&Innovation, DigitalSignage and InDigital – visitors enjoyed a very complete range of offerings. Additionally, another major attraction for visitors was the extensive and varied programme of associated activities, which included courses, seminars, workshops, conferences and exhibitions.

The Viscom area hosted activities such as the fourth edition of the Trade Marketing Forum, the presentation of the Study on the Graphic Arts Sector in the Community of Madrid, and the award ceremony for the tenth Letra Awards. Design&Innovation 2009 by Viscom included the Creatividad 361º  conference, the Always Chapas 2.0 exhibition, the Self-Packaging Workshop, and the presentation of the 14th edition of the Anuaria Awards. DigitalSignage 2009 by Viscom featured the first Digital Signage Marketing Forum and the announcement of the winning projects for the first DISI Awards. And lastly, at InDigital 2009 by Viscom, notable offerings included the POD Area (for Print On Demand).
